Weaving Dreams - Vol 2. - The Wish - When Mountains Sing
When Mountains Sing

      Back then we heard them
      Speaking with big voices
      Like the mountains singing
And the Earth dreaming tremendous forests
      Eternity's ocean
      Thousands of God's children
      Would gather together
      Speaking as one.

      And together we dreamt
      A very, very big dream...
      That what we were experiencing
      At the edge of forever
      Might be the foundation
For an old way of seeing
      And sharing and being...
That our children might know of forever, too.

And as the stars are our witness
      And love is our lifeblood
      We remembered who we were
      Vowing to trust in Life
      That we might recognize ourself
In the mirror of a generation to come
      Nurturing the garden
      Of significant life.

For the angels that we were
And the angels that we are
Have grown older, and hopefully, wiser
And the conversation has come full circle -
The torch must be passed on
To continue burning love's bright flame
      Guiding our people
      Forward through the night.

      Becoming the witnesses
      Becoming the raw materials
      With which a new generation
      May build a world
Upon which they may have their turn
      To speak with big voices
      And experience mountains singing
In a very big way, too.
